Atkinson Architects recently completed works at Grade I listed St Petrocs Church in Harford, Devon. This included the complete reconstruction of the main entrance lych gate that was literally blown away and dumped upside down several metres away by a winter storm in early 2022.
All oak frame sections granite quoins and slate detailing faithfully match the original salvaged structure that we catalogued and pieced together on site from the debris.
Handmade by local craftsmen – joiners and stonemasons. Hoisted back into position and re-set as the principal processional route to the church door.
