Atkinson Architects renovation of The Anchorage set within the West Hoe Conservation Area is well underway. The iconic Edwardian townhouse commands a spectacular waterside location overlooking Plymouth Sound.
The project consists of a comprehensive retro-fit and thermal upgrade of the whole property. New interiors at all four-floor levels involving the preservation of heritage fireplaces, original joinery, plasterwork and ornate moldings.
A completely new roof with some wonderful lead and slate detailing will all be revealed in Spring when the scaffold will be dropped.
