Atkinson Architects has successfully used copper on several projects over many years. Recently, Richard revisited these jobs with clients to see how well this wonderful material had evolved – weathering and developing a gentle patina over time.
The character of copper just gets better, it lasts a lifetime, requires no maintenance and is wholly recyclable. Truly one of our favourite materials, especially when used to complement old stone buildings across the South West.
The quality of craftsmanship and architectural detailing is also a joy to be involved with.
